Position Overview

We are seeking a Handyman / Carpenter to join our team. This role involves a variety of tasks, including home repairs, finish carpentry, and light electrical and light plumbing work. Technicians work independently, communicate effectively with clients and leads, and ensure projects meet high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of tasks, including:
• General home repairs and troubleshooting
• Finish carpentry and flooring installation
• Drywall patching and painting (interior/exterior)
• Cabinet and appliance installation
• Light electrical and plumbing work
• Demolition, rot repair, and general labor
• Communicate with clients to provide updates and clarify scope of work.
• Identify and report when tasks exceed the original scope to leads or PMs.

Key Skills

• Proficiency with hand and power tools for carpentry, electrical, and plumbing tasks.
• Ability to work independently after training and onboarding.
• Comfortable using job management apps for documentation and communication.

Position Requirements

• Experience: 2 years in handyman or carpentry related roles.
• Tools: Own a complete toolset (impact driver, drill, oscillator, carry bag, hand tools).
• Vehicle: Reliable truck, van, or SUV (licensed and insured).
• Other Requirements:
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Professional appearance (uniform shirts and hats provided).

What We Offer

• Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday, 7am-4pm

• Competitive hourly rate ($27-$31 DOE) with OT paid at time and a half

Pay: $27.00 - $31.00 per hour

Expected hours: 37 – 43 per week
