Handyman

Unleashed Dog Camp is a kennel free dog boarding and day care facility located in SE Renton on 25 acres of fields and woods. We are a diverse team of hard working individuals and expect all team members to contribute to an environment where individuals are free to show up as their authentic selves.

We are currently seeking a skilled Handy Person to join our team. As a Handy Person, you will be responsible for performing various indoor and outdoor maintenance and repair tasks around the property and in the "barn" where we house the dogs. The schedule is flexible as long as a minimum of 10 hours and maximum of 20 hours per week are available. We provide all necessary equipment.

We are open to someone looking for a temporary job and also potentially year round depending on skills and availability.

- Top pay range qualifications include ability to use a tractor, basic chainsaw skills, small engine maintenance, and more technical repair and construction skills.

Responsibilities:
- Perform general maintenance and repairs indoors and out
- Conduct routine inspections to identify any issues or potential problems
- Repair or replace broken or damaged fences, gates, and equipment.
- Install new fixtures, appliances, or equipment as needed
- Paint walls, ceilings, and other surfaces as required
- Mow fields, trim brush and blackberries, weed whack in Spring and Summer
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a maintenance person or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of general maintenance and repair techniques
- Proficient in using hand and power tools
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor tasks
- Good communication and customer service skills
