Opportunity Overview North Shore Community Health (NSCH) is an industry leader in exceptional delivery of community healthcare. We are seeking a skilled IT Support Specialist who is knowledgeable in Azure, Active Directory, Meraki, VPN, EMR systems like Epic, and HIPAA regulations to provide assistance to our company's end-users. The successful candidate will provide technical support, troubleshooting, and problem-solving assistance for NSCH. They will work closely with our IT team, healthcare providers, and other departments to ensure the smooth operation of our IT infrastructure and provide excellent customer service to our end-users while maintaining compliance with HIPAA regulations.

Responsibilities:
• Provide Level 1 support for Azure, Active Directory, Meraki, VPN, and EMR related issues to end-users.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Azure, Active Directory, Meraki, VPN, and EMR systems, including login and access issues, permissions, security concerns, and connectivity issues.
• Manage and maintain Azure, Active Directory, Meraki, and VPN configurations, user accounts, groups, and permissions.
• Collaborate with other IT team members to identify and resolve complex issues.
• Monitor and maintain Azure, Active Directory, Meraki, and VPN environments to ensure high availability and performance.
• Participate in testing and implementation of Azure, Active Directory, Meraki, and VPN related projects.
• Document solutions to recurring issues, troubleshooting steps, and procedures.
• Work collaboratively with the other members of the IT Dept and provide excellent customer service and communication to end-users and healthcare providers.
• Provide support for user and equipment set-up, repair and delivery.
• Manages and organizes the IT inventory.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations in all IT activities.
•Attend/complete all required trainings and participate in meetings as required.
•Perform additional duties as requested to fulfill NSCH’s mission.
Requirements
• Associate's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 1-2 years of experience in IT support with a focus on Azure, Active Directory, Meraki, VPN, EMR systems like Epic, and HIPAA regulations.
• Strong knowledge of Azure, Active Directory, Meraki, VPN, and EMR systems concepts, including account management, group policy, security, and authentication protocols. Epic EMR is a plus.
• Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and ability to maintain compliance in all IT activities.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
• Azure, Active Directory, Meraki, VPN, and EMR certification is a plus.
•Ability to work with minimum supervision and to interact well with all levels of employees throughout the organization, participate in intra- and interdepartmental collaboration, and handle multiple tasks concurrently to meet deadlines.
•Proven analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to do report writing, meeting minutes, and update/change/make project plans.
•Excellent communication skills, oral and written, interpersonal, organizational, and computer skills. Proven ability with Excel, Word, and Outlook.
•The desire and willingness to learn more about other IT projects and functions and to actively engage in projects that might be new for you.
•Ability to access all program locations (including travel to our sites).
•Ability to work on-site up to 5 days/week and also flexibility to work from various sites a day and/or remotely as needed to meet business needs.
