Position Overview
NSCG is seeking Graphic Artists / Illustrators to provide visual communications support for the Naval Surface Warfare Center Panama City Division (NSWC PCD). The Graphic Artist / Illustrator will create technical illustrations, graphic designs, and visual assets for scientific and engineering projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop artist concept renderings, technical illustrations, and graphic designs for government publications, presentations, and reports
- Work with various forms of art media, including pen and ink, acrylics, oils, watercolors, and digital tools such as Adobe Creative Suite and Corel Painter
- Collaborate with scientific and engineering teams to create graphics that accurately depict technical concepts
- Operate and maintain graphic design software and hardware, including scanners, tablets, large-format printers, and photo printers
- Convert visual assets into multiple formats, ensuring compliance with DoD, Navy, and NSWC PCD design standards
- Manage the archiving and retrieval of multimedia files and project assets
- Ensure classified materials are handled according to SECRET-level DoD security clearance requirements
