Position Overview
NSCG is seeking a Facilities Engineering Technician to support the Naval Surface Warfare Center Panama City Division (NSWC PCD). The role involves providing Computer-Aided Drafting and Design (CADD) support, space planning, and asset management within facilities management operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Utilize AutoCAD® software to update and maintain NSWC PCD Master Space Plans.
- Develop and modify conceptual drawings for executive and standard office spaces.
- Convert drawings into PDF and JPEG formats for accessibility and record-keeping.
- Maintain a well-defined tracking system for space planning and utilization.
- Assist in transitioning facility space data into the ARCHIBUS management system.
- Collect and analyze field data to prepare record drawings for facilities projects.
- Support NSWC PCD in preparing documentation for site approval requests, work orders, and engineering sketches.
