What are the responsibilities and job description for the Secondary Summer School Coordinator (24-25) position at North St. Paul-Maplewood-Oakdale Schools?
- To provide ISD 622 students (grades 8 -12) with the opportunity to recover course credits required for graduation through Credit Recovery and Bridge to High School Porgram
- For students in grades 9-12 Credit Recovery and students in 8th Bridge to High School who are at risk of not graduating on time.
- Credit Recovery runs 4 days/wk in person (7:45 a.m.-12:45 p.m.)
- Brige to High School runs 4 days/wk in person (7:45 a.m.-12:45 p.m.)
- Valid Secondary MN teaching license and/or 7-12 Secondary Guidance and Counseling or K-12 School Counselor license
- Minimum of one year successful teaching experience.
- Experience in planning, implementing, and analyzing formative and sumative assessments.
- Experience in planning and facilitating various professional learning activities.
- Ability to demonstrate, model and coach effective research-based instructional strategies.
- Excellent interpersonal/communication/collaboration skills.
- Ability to work with teachers individually in different content areas.
- Coordination and prep of summer programming tasks leading up to and during time of programming
- Day-to-day operations involving both Credit Recovery and the Bridge to HS program
- Staff supervision

- Meal prep and distribution
