Social Media Coordinator, North Star Fertility Partners

North Star Fertility Partners is searching for a talented Social Media Coordinator to support the day-to-day programming of the company’s social media activities and execution for marquee brands outreach to consumers and industry constituents within the portfolio. Reporting to the Director of Marketing, you will help shepherd the execution of social media content strategy to drive brand objectives achievable within the social media landscape, specifically delivering on creative excellence in content development, driving brand awareness and engagement with key segments, and evolving social media activities. You will collaborate closely with all cross-functional teams within the Marketing department to ensure cohesive and compelling brand messaging and program integration.

What you’ll do: 

  • In partnership with the Director of Marketing, support the social media practice across the Northstar brand portfolio, ensuring adherence and refinement to social content strategies, executing on brand creative guidelines and expectations, assessing practice optimizations, and supporting the greater company knowledge of the role of social media
  • Concept and create compelling social media and community content for key brands including posts, videos, graphics, and other multimedia elements to share for your assigned brands’ consumer and industry mission and vision.
  • Manage social media and community channels on a day-to-day basis, including scheduling posts, monitoring engagement, identifying competitive opportunities and issues, and managing inquiries and comments
  • Provide regular reporting and insights on brand social media performance, community engagement, identifying trends, competitive opportunities, and areas for improvement to optimize content, maximize engagement, and lead generation across platforms.
  • Be a steward of the brands we represent in all communication, content development, and community engagement across social media.
  • Management and ongoing usage of a social media management tool to engage and categorize inbound consumer conversation across platforms, enable social listening queries and competitive benchmarking, and conduct regular analysis and reporting
  • Maintain current understanding of the category, the business, competitive activity, and insight into the segments of clients we support. 
  • Stay up to date with best practices, guidelines, regulations and policies in an ever-changing landscape of social media.

 

What you’ll need to succeed: 

To be successful in this role, you should have in-depth knowledge of the ever-changing landscape of social media, and community forums, both legacy and more emergent platforms. You should also have experience executing requisite marketing projects from conception to production. Strong project management, detail orientation, prioritized multi-tasking, and flexibility are key skillsets for this role’s success. 

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience managing social media accounts with prior or applicable experience in a related role. 
  • Proven track record of successful social media campaigns and content creation. 
  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of social media, including existing and upcoming platforms and corresponding algorithms, trends, and best practices. 
  • Strong creative thinking and the ability to develop innovative content ideas leaning on historical performance and category learnings.
  • Strong content creation skills, including but not limited to: excellent communication, writing, and story crafting, graphic design capabilities.
  • Experience with one or many content creation programs like Canva, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign required; video editing skills a plus.
  • Ability to organize tasks to meet deadlines and manage time effectively while overseeing several priorities and projects.
  • Experience with social media management systems for channel and engagement management, social listening analysis, and reporting (e.g. Sprinklr, Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Brandwatch, etc.)
  • Ability to conduct self-guided industry and competitive research to identify trends and opportunities for social conversations, and ability to synthesize data into insights.
  • Growth orientation and desire to learn and grow in role/responsibilities over time.
  • Collaborative style in a fast-paced environment, highly adaptable and agile while remaining positive.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. 
  • High level of professionalism and ability to represent the brand’s image and values.
