Join a fun and energetic work environment as the Program Coordinator for one of Philadelphia's top martial arts academies!
Do you like hanging out with cool people? Do you enjoy helping people accomplish their goals? Are you comfortable striking up conversations with highly motivated individuals?
If you answered yes to any of those questions.. this is a great position for you!
Your responsibilites will be separated into two categories -- ongoing management, and day-to-day tasks.
On a day-to-day level, you'll be hanging out at the front desk of the academy. After opening up the facility and some light cleaning and setting up, you'll spend most of your day speaking with students, prospective students, and filming/working on our social media accounts. You'll enroll new students into our programs, help current students with gear purchases, and help in the various activities here at the gym as needed.
On an ongoing basis, you'll manage the databases here at the academy. This includes keeping everyone's rank up to date, managing hot, warm, and cool leads, organizing special events, and processing account-related requests like holds and cancellations. Additionally you will work to boost the academy's general presence in the area through marketing and PR efforts.
The Academy Director will also receive one free membership to the academy for themselves or someone else, staff discounts on equipment, and additional perks.
The perfect candidate will have excellent written and verbal communication skills (proper grammar is absolutely necessary), be able to solve basic math problems, be punctual and reliable, take direction well, and have great social skills.
The martial arts industry is pretty niche, meaning that we are happy to train you in our various systems and software. No martial arts experience is required! Just an eagerness to learn and grow your skill set here.
