We are currently seeking a Caring AssistantTeacher to join our team of passionate educators. Position Overview:
As an assistant teacher, you will be responsible for assisting the lead teacher and ensuring childrens safety, well-being, and development while maintaining a warm, welcoming classroom environment. You will assist with activities such as circle time, and help maintain an organized and clean classroom. You will work closely with other team members to assist with the curriculum that supports the social, emotional, and cognitive growth of our young children.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with Circle Time: Asisst lead teacher to facilitate engaging and age-appropriate activities, including songs, stories, and interactive learning, that foster social and language development.
- Help Maintain a Nurturing Environment: Provide individualized care while maintaining a consistent, loving routine to help children feel secure and valued.
- Help Organize and Maintain the Classroom: Ensure the room is clean, organized, and stocked with materials needed.
- Foster Positive Relationships: Build strong, supportive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
- Collaborate with Team Members: Work closely with lead teachers and staff to ensure a cohesive and well-rounded educational experience for all children.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred.
- Previous experience working with all age groups is preferred.
- A deep passion for working with young children and a strong understanding of their developmental needs.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to create a positive, warm, and respectful classroom environment.
- First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).
