North Suffolk is looking for a Greeter / Receptionist to join our team! The Greeter / Receptionist provides exceptional customer service to individuals contacting the Corporate Office and information about NSCS services. This role provides effective and efficient day to day support to the Administrative Team. This is a great opportunity for a highly organized and motivated individual who wants to make a difference.
This is a Part-Time position; Monday-Friday with up to 20 hours / flexible.
What you'll do :
- Answer incoming calls, sort and distribute mail, and greet visitors.
- Complete administrative duties including use of Microsoft Office software, document management, data entry, copying, calendar management, filing and other general office duties.
- Process daily outgoing and in-coming mail / packaging. Sort and process all interoffice correspondence.
- Answer telephone calls in a timely and courteous manner; forward calls and take messages as needed.
- Greet and screen all staff, clients, community members, and vendors in a pleasant and professional manner.
- Maintain correspondence, documents, mailing lists and other data for admin team
- Assist Finance department by logging the daily check spreadsheet and mailing checks.
- Receive faxes and forward them to appropriate destinations.
- Assist the admin team with managing office equipment, contacting appropriate vendor for repairs and maintenance when needed.
- Support the admin team in other duties and tasks as requested. What you'll need :
- Education :
High School or GED required.
Experience working in an administrative role or non-profit setting required.
Bilingualism preferred, not required.
