The North Texas Medical Center is seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join its team in the Women's Center.
Job Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care, assessing individual needs and developing personalized plans of treatment.
- Communicate effectively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Perform neonatal resuscitation according to established guidelines and administer medications as necessary.
- Conduct thorough assessments on infants and adult females, reassessing as per policy and utilizing effective pain management techniques.
- Promote patient safety by minimizing medical errors and consulting other departments when necessary.
- Document patient information accurately and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Current RN license in the State of Texas.
- Successful completion of Neonatal Resuscitation Certification and current BLS Certification.
- Completion of fetal monitoring course and ACLS certification.
- Prior experience in Labor and Delivery is preferred.
