North Texas Ob-Gyn Associates is a very busy medical office searching for a dynamic and professional individual who thrives in a fast paced work environment. The Medical Receptionist is the face of the company and plays an important role in the quality of service provided to our patients. There will be some light travel involved between offices our Lewisville and Flower Mound offices.Opportunity for growth.
REQUIREMENTS include excellent communication and phone skills, strong customer service, strong computer proficiency, reliable work ethic and a winning personality. You must be able to multi-task and work closely as part of a team. Previous Electronic Medical Records experience a MUST.
JOB DUTIES (but are not limited to):
- Scheduling patient appointments
- Greeting patients and visitors in a courteous and helpful manner
- Checking patients in and out of the office which includes explanations of benefits, collection of patient patients, having patients complete paperwork
- Answering incoming telephone calls and directing to appropriate party
- Patient follow-up
- Verifying patient insurance benefits and determining patient responsibility
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- At least 2 year in a medical office as Medical Receptionist
- At least 2 year experience with EMR software
- Bilingual a plus
