What are the responsibilities and job description for the Ophthalmic Assistant position at North Texas Ophthalmology Associates?
North Texas Ophthalmology Associates is Wichita Falls' largest and longest-operating ophthalmology clinic, and we need help! We are seeking two motivated individuals to join our team and help in the mission protecting and restoring sight!
As an ophthalmic technician, your primary responsibilities include:
- Providing an exceptional customer service experience for each patient
- Documentation of medical history and medications
- Performing the initial patient examination including vision testing, pupil measurement, and intraocular pressure measurement.
- Performing specialized in-office diagnostic testing including visual field analysis, ocular coherence tomography, fundus photography, and B-scan ultrasound.
The ideal candidate will be organized, energetic and possess a positive professional attitude. Ophthalmology or optometry experience preferred, but we will train a highly motivated candidate.
