Overview
We are looking for a dynamic and driven Regional Sales Manager to lead sales growth and customer development across North Carolina and South Carolina. This role is responsible for managing distributor relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and driving revenue across residential, commercial, and multi-family flooring channels. The ideal candidate has a strong background in flooring or building materials, a solid network in the region, and a passion for delivering high-performance solutions to customers.
Duties
- Develop and execute regional sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and market share growth.
- Manage relationships with flooring dealers, distributors, contractors, and designers in NC and SC.
- Identify and cultivate new business opportunities in both residential and commercial sectors.
- Provide product training, support, and promotional materials to distribution partners and clients.
- Collaborate with internal teams on pricing, inventory planning, and customer feedback.
- Monitor competitor activities and regional market trends to stay ahead of the curve.
- Attend regional trade shows, customer events, and product launches as a brand ambassador.
- Report regularly on sales activities, forecasts, and market insights using CRM tools.
- Ensure alignment with company policies, product positioning, and strategic goals.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5 years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in the flooring, building materials, or home improvement industry.
- Deep knowledge of the NC and SC flooring markets, with established industry contacts.
- Self-starter with strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively across the assigned territory.
- Proficiency in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining alignment with corporate sales strategies.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in both wholesale and DTC (Direct-to-Consumer) sales models.
- Familiarity with LVP, SPC, hardwood, laminate, and/or 3D printed flooring products.
- Understanding of installation processes and end-user needs.
