What are the responsibilities and job description for the Laundry Staff position at Northbrooke Post-Acute?
As a Laundry Staff, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our facility maintains a clean and safe environment for our residents. You will be responsible for operating laundry equipment, sorting and washing linens, and folding and distributing clean laundry. Your attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols will be essential in maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and infection control. You will work closely with other staff members to ensure that laundry needs are met in a timely and efficient manner.
- Operate laundry equipment, including washers and dryers
- Sort and wash linens, including bedding, towels, and clothing
- Fold and distribute clean laundry to appropriate locations
- Maintain inventory of laundry supplies and notify supervisor when supplies need to be ordered
- Adhere to safety protocols and infection control procedures
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Previous experience in a laundry or housekeeping role
- Familiarity with industrial laundry equipment
