What are the responsibilities and job description for the Systems Analyst position at Northeast Alabama Regional Medical Center Health System?
The Systems Analyst will be responsible for the configuration, implementation, monitoring and maintenance of all IT services. This includes but isn't limited to servers, backup systems, and Active Directory. The Systems Analyst is also responsible for SAN, DB, and application maintenance and support. This position will work closely with other analysts for App/DB server configurations and system support.
Additionally, the Systems Analyst will be responsible for implementing and maintaining device monitoring for systems and infrastructure services to include alerting and notifications. Position works with other analysts for data center operations such as rack maintenance, cabling, and decommissioning.
Must be able to perform all phases of the job at a satisfactory level within 3 months.
Advanced knowledge of multiple vendor server hardware and operating s ystems .
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory Services.
Advanced knowledge and troubleshooting of Windows Server 2008 and above.
Understanding of basic enterprise networking concepts
Working knowledge of web application security, understanding of vulnerabilities and countermeasures.
Knowledgeable with VMware, SQL, Linux; web development a plus
Two years of college or technical training in computer related field preferred but not required. Relevant certifications are a plus.
At least 3-5 years of job related experience.
Experience in systems administration in a healthcare environment a plus.
