What are the responsibilities and job description for the Allergy Nurse position at Northeast Allergy, Asthma and Immunology?
Northeast Allergy, Asthma and Immunology has 6 medical offices in Massachusetts. We work together as a team to care for both pediatric and adult patients with a variety of allergy and immunology related conditions.
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate full time nurse to work part-time at our Stoneham office.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care, including but not limited to physical assesment, various forms of allergy testing, immunotherapy and medication administration
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team
- Telephone triage and assist with completion of letters and forms
- Utilize electronic medical record systems to document patient information accurately
- Assist in the treatment and management of medical emergencies such as anaphylaxis
Skills:
- Strong patient care skills, with the ability to provide compassionate and empathetic support
- Experience in health care settings, with the ability to handle high-stress situations effectively
- Competence in performing physical examinations and assessing patient conditions
- Proficiency in using electronic medical record systems to maintain accurate patient records
