NortheastArc- Clinical Services provides a full range of home health care services specifically specializing in the provision of Continuous Care Nursing Services to medically complex and fragile children and adults. Our services are delivered with care and compassion, are always patient/family-centered, and are coordinated with other health care providers as needed.
Job Summary: Under the supervision of the Clinical Manager, and in accordance with established policies and procedures, the Scheduling Coordinator provides clerical and scheduling support to the Clinical Manager.
Major Responsibilities
Skills, Knowledge and Abilities: Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to handle/safeguard sensitive and confidential information. Positive attitude and team player. Proactive and independent with ability to take initiative. Excellent time management skills with proven ability to meet deadlines. Outstanding computer skills, including experience with MS Office suite, Content Management Systems. Ability to learn new computer systems. Exceptional customer service skills.

- Communicates and builds collegial relationships with clinical staff, multidisciplinary colleagues, patients, clients, and caregivers.
- Creates and maintains schedules and communicates changes with family, nurses, and managers.
- Provides staffing for sick leave, vacation, long term leave.
- Manages complex and multidisciplinary real-time scheduling needs of a diverse patient population.
- Demonstrates respect and professionalism for patients’ rights and individual needs, including preservation of confidentiality.
- Follows up on administrative tasks and communicates updates to the team in an efficient and reliable manner.
- Collaborates with leadership to develop and implement new processes and systems.
- Communicates with Human Resources for recruitment needs and participates in the hiring of staff.
- Provides excellent customer services skills, including the ability to proficiently manage and triage telephone calls, texts, and emails.
- Other duties and special projects as required.
