Primary duties:
Working closely with the Senior Accountant, who is also our Payroll Specialist, the Staff Accountant will be responsible for accurate, timely recording of payroll-related transactions, including posting journal entries, and monthly accruals. The staff accountant also be responsible for benefits administration tasks, including updating employee enrollments and providing assistance where needed. The accountant will also assist the Controller with month end close, budgeting and audit preparation.

Primary duties:
- Process Accounts Payable, including preparation of ACH and manual check payments and maintaining all vendor files
- Identify and post daily receipts and electronic funds transfers
- Reconcile and replenish programs' allowance accounts
- Complete monthly bank reconciliations

- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and a minimum of 3-5 years of relevant work experience, preferably in a human services setting.
