Accountant / Bookkeeper

Ludlow, MA

Pay : $20-$22 / hr. Depending on Experience They could go higher on the pay!

Experience Requirements :

  • Minimum High School Degree Required
  • Basic knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
  • Familiarity with accounting software is a plus.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Financial Data Entry : Record financial transactions, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments, into accounting software.
  • Accounts Payable & Receivables : Assist with processing invoices, issuing payments, and following up on outstanding receivables.
  • Bank Reconciliation : Support the team in reconciling bank statements and resolving discrepancies.
  • General Ledger Maintenance : Help maintain the general ledger by accurately recording journal entries and assisting with month-end closing procedures.
  • Assist in Financial Reporting : Prepare and assist with basic financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.
  • Tax Support : Assist in gathering necessary documents for tax preparation and filings.
