This position is in a Salary Grade PM4, with a starting salary $51,264 per annum. The successful candidate’s salary will be calculated based on education and experience within the grade range.

General Description
The purpose of this position is to act as the primary point of contact for business and industry related to Educational Services of Northeast Community College within a defined geographic region. The Liaison will act as the primary point of contact for businesses, community organizations, and non-profits in one of three service area zones. The Liaison will prepare and meet with businesses and community partners, conduct business retention/growth visits in collaboration with chambers of commerce and/or economic development agencies, participate in community organizations and events, and coordinate requested training. This position will collaborated with internal deans, staff, and faculty to develop and/or deliver high quality training. Collaboration includes, but is not limited to, pathway alignment between trainings and programming with credit programming, recruitment of trainers, assisting trainers with research and development of requested topic curriculum; coordination of training offerings; oversight of program delivery including review of curriculum and regular contact with trainers. Assure quality delivery of programming with education programmers and event management staff.
The Liaisons will also collaborate with the External Campus Directors and Career Navigators to establish consistent and comprehensive service in the zones and act as a bridge between divisions across Northeast and business and industry partners. Serve as the contact point between college and those seeking information about financial contributions to the College, letters of support, and testimonials for grant applications or promotional pieces.
This position will have an understanding of the breadth of services provided by Northeast Community College.
This position will be specifically for the South Sioux City and surrounding area. The candidate will need to reside in that area.

Qualifications: Education
High school diploma. Bachelor’s degree preferred
Qualification:Experience
At least 2 years experience in sales, marketing, customer relationship. Preference for experience in post-secondary education.
