Northeast Family Services is seeking a Senior Vice President to support the agency’s mission and core values!
The Senior Vice President, in partnership with the COO and the senior leadership team, will be responsible for the operations of outpatient, In-home therapy, and other programs in NY and other states.
The Senior Vice President is responsible for the effective management of services including oversight of quality, compliance, outcomes, staffing safety, service delivery and financial performance. The Senior Vice President will create and implement a region-wide behavioral health system across the continuum of care and have oversight and management responsibilities over behavioral health operations. This position will be the main contact between the Executive Vice President and state leadership such as Assistant Vice Presidents and Program Directors.
This is a NY based role and independent clinical licensure (LCSW or LMHC with diagnostic privilege) in the state of NY is required.
Essential Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Participate in the senior management team responsible for the operations of several programs throughout the US.
- Provide supervision and oversight of the administrative functions; monitor the quality of personnel, consumer services, conditions of facilities, budget control, and program licensing and quality assurance.
- Provide administrative and program oversight to ensure that managerial staff are trained in and utilizing effective methods to address risk management and supervisory responsibilities.
- Recommend and implement service changes that respond to changing needs of the services areas. Coordinate with internal and external collaterals and support team members.
- Oversee all personnel matters related to staff recruitment, training and development. Develop and implement curriculums related to developmental disabilities and to service provision for internal and community trainings. Train and coordinate other trainers.
- Develop and monitor fiscal administration systems for program and personnel services including guidelines for purchases and expenditures, and fiscal reporting systems.
- Oversee and audit program information systems.
- Ensure programs operate within agency policies and procedures, and according to specific procedures for the individual program site, in compliance with applicable state and federal regulations.
- Provide leadership, supervision and support to program managers and directors including coordinating and leading regular team meetings. Serve as a liaison with public and private agencies in the human service systems.
- Identify new lines of business and assist with go live preparations.
- Utilize leaderships skills to ensure growth of all manager’s administrative skills.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in social work, psychology, counseling, or related human services field required.
- Independent clinical license in the state of NY is required (LCSW or LMHC with diagnostic privilege required) as well as the ability and willingness to obtain additional state licenses.
- Minimum of ten years of clinical management experience in public or private agencies providing child welfare services, behavioral health, or related fields
- Minimum of ten years of experience in the management of behavioral health operations (multi-state preferred)
- An in-depth working knowledge of administration and operations with a strong emphasis on, and an understanding of, financial management, strategic planning, client care, quality assessment and improvement, risk management, employee relations and human resource management
- Ability to effectively lead and develop staff in order to grow organizational capacity
- Innovative thinker with ability to add structure and conceptual framing
- Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Knowledge of Electronic Health Records
- Ability to assist with the discovery and development of grants, contracts and related tasks

Compensation:
- Salary $125,000 - $150,000
