About the Role:
We are seeking an Firefighter/Emergency Medical Technician to join our team and provide high-quality medical care to our patients. As an EMT, you will be responsible for responding to emergency calls, assessing patients' conditions, and providing necessary medical treatment. You will work closely with other medical professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients. Your role will be critical in saving lives and providing essential medical care to those in need.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Pro-board-certified Firefighter 1 and Haz-Mat Operations
- Valid CT EMT-Basic certification or CT State Paramedic license
- Valid CPR certification
- FEMA 100, 200, 700, 800
- Ability to work in high-pressure situations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Enthusiastic and coachable
Preferred Qualifications:
- Pro-board-certified Firefighter 2 certification
- Experience in patient care and medical operations
- Documentation knowledge
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work flexible hours
Responsibilities:
