Northeast Fire-Rescue is excited to announce that we are seeking highly motivated, passionate and dedicated per diem and full time EMTs to work with our partners at Winsted Area Ambulance Association (WAAA). New to the WAAA-NEFR team will be the staffing of a second ambulance during peak hours of the day.
Winsted Ambulance is a 911 only, BLS service that prides itself on protecting their community as a busy BLS service, with plenty of opportunities for training and career improvement. Come join a team of professional who love what they do and have fun while they're doing it. We're looking for EMT(s) who want to learn and are eager to grow our partnership together. In addition to patient care and emergency medical services, Winsted Ambulance has its own station with sleeping quarters, day room, training room and kitchen to provide for a comfortable working and learning atmosphere.
Starting EMT pay is $23.69 per hour and raises are commensurate with your passion, dedication and experience for the profession. Health care and retirement packages offered.
