What are the responsibilities and job description for the Human Resources Specialist position at NORTHEAST FLORIDA COMMUNITY ACTION AGENCY, INC?
Essential Functions:
¨ Assists Human Resources Manager with the processing of Data Buster applicants; to include making copies of documents as needed for finance, and proper maintenance of all Data Busters files.
¨ Assists the Human Resource Manager with the New Hire Orientation, Onboarding & Off boarding process
¨ Organize and maintains filing system for all files as instructed.
¨ Stay abreast of all federal, state and local laws and regulations related to the Human Resources functions.
¨ Assist with Annual Open Enrollment process
¨ Performs routine administrative tasks and special projects under direction of the supervisor.
¨ Performs data entry in computerized system; maintains routine informational spreadsheets.
¨ Photocopies printed documents; send and receive faxes.
¨ Conduct internal audit of all Personnel files on a semiannual basis
¨ Assists with the phone system and Receptionist coverage.
¨ Writes requisitions to order supplies, equipment and services.
¨ Prepare Job Openings and other HR announcements for Agency Website posting
¨ Performs other job-related duties as may be assigned.
Required Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent with Human Resources experience. At least combination of two (2) years of college preferable. Must be able to read and write English; as well as comprehend and follow direction; must have strong interpersonal skills and a professional appearance; and have an interest in understanding of the Agency’s programs and Human Resources operations (recruiting, onboarding, training, and compensation).
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $17.10 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
