What are the responsibilities and job description for the Snow Shovel Crew Members position at Northeast Group?

Here's a list of expectations for the role of Snow Shovel Crew Member:
- Use Shovel / Snowblower to remove snow from Commercial Properties
- Responds in a timely manner (within 30 minutes) when called to assist in snow removal operations
- Ensure assigned properties under this position's responsibility are adequately and safely serviced when required.
- Shoveling snow, grounds maintenance, and other duties as assigned related to facilities and site maintenance
- Before leaving for a shift, inspect equipment on a regularly scheduled basis and comply with safety precautions.
- Maintains clean, ready-to-go equipment needed for snow removal.
- Follows all safety rules, policies, and regulations. Can work independently with minimal supervision to complete the job.
Here’s a list of requirements for the role of Snow Shovel Crew Lead:
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Must be able to lift 50lbs
- Must be able to work in adverse conditions for extended period of time
Here’s a look at your expected work environment:
- Standing, walking, or sitting for extended periods
- Lifting and carrying objects up to 65 pounds
- Working in all weather conditions
