Organizational Background:
Northeast Health Partners (NHP) is a mission-driven organization dedicated to delivering high-quality, integrated healthcare services to communities across northeastern Colorado. As the Regional Accountable Entity (RAE) for Region 2 under Health First Colorado (Medicaid), NHP oversees the coordination and delivery of physical and behavioral health services for Medicaid members. Position Summary:
The HR Specialist develops and executes several core HR processes and programs, including performance management, recruiting, training and development and employee relations. The HR Specialist also supports compensation management. The HR Specialist is expected to manage and support policies and programs with a keen focus on compliance and best practices.
Must reside in the State of Colorado or be willing to relocate prior to position start date.
Duties Performed:
- Maintain compensation information by collecting, calculating, and inputting data.
- Ensure new hires complete all necessary documentation and comply with company policies during onboarding process.
- Maintain human resources database and records by inputting data from change requests and applications; recording statistics; documenting job interviews and job offers.
- Fill job vacancies by forwarding openings and hiring criteria to applicant sources, scheduling interviews with hiring managers and completing affirmative action plan tracking.
- Maintains department schedule by coordinating calendars, arranging meetings and conferences.
- Provides management planning and control information and reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends.
- Avoids legal challenges by complying with, and enforcing, legal requirements.
- Address employee concerns and resolve conflicts in a fair and consistent manner.
- Supports management in implementing policies and handling performance or disciplinary issues.
- Assist employees with benefits inquiries and resolve related issues
- Ensure that compensation packages are competitive and aligned with company standards.
- Implement and communicate company policies and procedures related to human resources.
- Travel routinely throughout Colorado and Region 2.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES
Education/Credentials/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university ine in Human Resources or related field is preferred, or equivalent combination of education and related experience
- 3 years’ experience working in a Human Resources role.
Skills/ Abilities to:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven experience in human resources or recruitment
- Ability to handle sensitive information
- Knowledge of local, state and federal rules and regulations
- Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Working Conditions:
Work is primarily performed in a standard office environment; however, a hybrid work model may be offered, blending in-office and remote work opportunities based on organizational needs and job requirements. Some meetings will occur at locations outside of the usual work location, including the use of conference and electronic meeting platforms (e.g., Zoom, GoToMeeting). All positions require travel within the counties NHP serves.
SALARY RANGE:
Salary Range: $45,0000.00 - $60,000.00. The base compensation represents the entry point of the range. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on factors including but not limited to location, experience, education, licensure, and performance.
