Super Vacuum Manufacturing Company is an established locally owned family business that manufactures fire equipment and emergency vehicles that help our communities to save lives. We are looking for an energetic, self-starting, team-focused Human Resources Generalist to be an important part of our team in Fort Collins, CO.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Human Resources Specialist to join our dynamic HR team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in various HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, and assisting HR Manager with various other responsibilities. This position requires strong communication skills and proficiency in HR software systems to effectively support our workforce and contribute to our organizational goals.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Ability to prioritize multiple ongoing projects, in a dead-line driven environment.
- Manage the recruiting lifecycle to include interviewing, hiring, and facilitating employee onboarding.
- Maintains and updates our HRIS system, including employee records, performance evaluations, and training certificates.
- Answers frequently asked questions from applicants and employees relative to standard policies, benefits, hiring processes, etc.; refers more complex situations to HR Manager.
- Performs periodic audits of HR files and records to ensure that all required documents are collected and filed appropriately electronically.
- Coordinates monthly benefit enrollments for new hires.
- Assists with planning and execution of special events such as benefits enrollment, organization-wide meetings, employee recognition events, holiday parties, and retirement celebrations.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Proven experience in human resources or related field is preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn, human resource information system (HRIS), and similar computer applications.
Education and Experience:
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in business administration or human resources preferred.
- Previous human resource or recruiting position preferred.
- SHRM certification a plus.

Location and hours: On site from 8:00am to 4:30pm, Monday through Friday.
Compensation: $22-$25/ hour DOE
