DS Direct Support Professional (Community Skills Groups)
Meaningful work opportunity as a Direct Support Professional (DSP) in our Community Skills Groups! Essential Duties And Functions
- Advocate and assist individuals with relating to family, community, and others in a competent and respectful manner. Facilitate valued social roles and relationships.
- Maintain strict consumer confidentiality in accordance with Federal Confidentiality Regulations (42 CFR Part 2 as amended), NKHS policies, and HIPAA regulations.
- Develop a rapport with individuals to cultivate a safe and supportive working relationship.
- Responsible for supporting up to three individuals with Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities at one time to work on skill-building activities.
- Willingness to utilize phone for work purposes.
- Willingness to utilize technology ex: Zoom, Relias etc.
- High school diploma, or equivalent, experience working with individuals who have an intellectual/developmental disability preferred.
- Starting at $18.00/hr
