Description:
- Maintain constant communication with managers, staff, and vendors to ensure proper operation of the company
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance protocols
- Increase the efficiency of existing processes and procedures to enhance the company’s internal capacity
- Ensure that operational activities remain on time and within budget
- Track staffing requirements, hiring new employees as needed
- Track and drive sales initiatives to meet budgeted goals
- Lead, motivate, support, train teams within a time-sensitive and demanding environment across all operational departments
- Evaluate performance holding teams accountable and correcting performance when needed
- Manage data collection for the updating of metrics to achieve productivity targets, sales goals, reduce costs, eliminate errors, and deliver excellent customer service
- Work with legal and safety departments to ensure that activities remain compliant
- Work closely with all departments such as sales, warehousing, finance, and HR to achieve cross-functional goals.
- Conduct budget reviews and report strategic plan/goals to upper management monthly
- Contribute to the development of operational strategies aligned with overall business objectives.
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in operations management, business administration, or related field
- Two or more years of proven success in an operations management role
- Multiple years of financial and account reporting experience
- Strong skills in budget development and oversight
- Excellent ability to delegate responsibilities while maintaining organizational control of branch operations and customer service
- Proficiency in conflict management and business negotiation processes
- Knowledge of business productivity software and an aptitude for learning new applications
Primarily work in an office environment.
Will be expected to travel 30% to company subsidiaries.
Periodic weekend or evening work is expected.
