What are the responsibilities and job description for the Rehabilitation Technician/ATP position at Northeast Mobility Center?
We are seeking a qualified Assistive Technology Professional (ATP). The role of the Assistive Technology Professional involves creating customized assistive technology solutions that align with the mobility needs of our patients and their healthcare providers. This role is instrumental in enhancing the overall quality of life for the individuals we serve, by targeting accessibility and mobility.
Main responsibilities:
- Cultivating and enhancing existing relationships with current patients and providers, while actively looking to establish new relationships with referring providers.
- Evaluate patients to determine their rehabilitation equipment requirements, ensuring the delivery and proper fitting of equipment, and verifying that the customer's functional goals are achieved.
- Ensuring all necessary documentation is accurate and complete in a timely fashion.
- Promptly address patient and referral inquiries, requests, and concerns.
- Assisting in educating customer service and delivery staff on the correct usage, selection, and maintenance of Rehab Technology products.
- Meeting established productivity and performance benchmarks.
- Keeping certifications and licenses up to date, including annual continuing education requirements, while staying informed about funding criteria and technological advancements within the Rehab Technology industry.
Basic qualifications:
- Preferred: Current Assistive Technology Professional certification, or alternatively, 2-5 years of experience in the complex rehab industry.
- Preferred: A bachelor's degree in a related field, although not mandatory.
- Preference given to candidates with a background in clinical fields or Rehabilitation sciences related degrees.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
