$45,000-$50,000/ year with a $1500 sign-on bonus ($500 at 90 days, $500 at 6 months, $500 at 1 year)
The Program Manager is the leader of the home and responsible for the day-to-day functionality of the program. The Program Manager is responsible for the supervising the team, support staff in the program, and to the delivery of Direct Support and Person-Centered Plan services by that team.
To be successful in this role, you must be caring, patient, and able to work under close instruction as well as independently. This position also requires attention to detail with documentation requirements and the ability to use multiple online software systems. The Northeast Residential Services team provides multiple trainings free of cost to our employees to ensure your success.
Program Manager Responsibilities Include:
- Provide leadership to the Direct Support Professionals and support them providing optimal care and support for those we support while maintaining the integrity and performance of the staff.
- Provide training and ensuring that the team know routine, procedures and agency protocols.
- Provide accountability for the team in the Person-Centered Plans, Treatment and Positive Support Plans, and Behavioral Management Plans.
- Meet with staff weekly and monthly to provide supervision.
- Monitor and assure quality of services to clients.
- Create and maintain work schedules for each team member, ensuring compliance and coverage of shift in the program.
- Provide regular communications with Case Managers, Guardians, Staff, and Supervisors.
- Maintain ongoing, accurate documentation, ensuring it is logged daily by all staff members.
- Maintain all program books to policy standard.
- Make sure medications are maintained properly, while keeping MAR book updated.
- Ensure finances are kept safe and are accurately monitored and recorded.
- Ensure treatment plans are adhered and treatment goals and procedures are being followed.
- Responsible for ensuring the cleanliness of the homes, keeping them clean and livable for clients and staff, reporting damages as needed.
- Conduct fire drills once a month to maintain, in accordance with safety standards.
- Maintain and complete scheduling, callouts, ensure timesheet accuracy and payroll.
- Be available to provide on-call services to include nights and weekends.
Essential Job Requirements:
- Valid Maine drivers license
- Reliable vehicle that is registered and insured
- Clean driving record
- Ability to read, write and communicate proficiently in the English Language
- Ability to lift/push/pull 50lbs.
- Ability to work on holidays and during inclement weather
- DSP Certified and/or willingness to complete DSP training curriculum mandated by the State Of Maine
