What are the responsibilities and job description for the Wound care APRN PART-TIME Wooster position at Northeast Surgical Wound Care?
We are looking for a PART-TIME Nurse Practitioner to provide Wound Care and dermatological services primarily to patients in LTC and SNFs. Providers have a flexible schedule and the position allows for a lot of autonomy with a dedicated clinical team for support. Essential functions: Assessment, thorough documentation in our EMR, sharp debridement, I&Ds, punch and shave biopsies. NP will provide wound care and orders of associated services to improve wound healing outcomes, including but not limited to radiologic tests, laboratory testing, vascular testing, specialty referrals, and orthotics. Interpretation of diagnostic tests and recommendation of appropriate follow up. Recommendations for prescription of required medications, equipment and supplies (DME) to facilitate wound healing and prevention. The company will provide training to obtain your certification. Wound care experience not required, but is a plus!
