Assistant Bookeeper-Inventory Data entry

Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Assistant Bookkeeper to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records, assisting with various accounting tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports.
• Maintain accurate records of financial transactions using accounting software.
• Support the month-end closing process, including reconciliations and journal entries.
• Conduct data mining to extract relevant financial information for analysis.
• Assist in managing warehouse inventory records and ensure accuracy in reporting.
• Work with MRP (Material Requirements Planning) systems to track inventory levels and orders.
• Coordinate with 3PL (Third Party Logistics) providers for accurate shipping and receiving documentation.
• Enter payables, Apply credits
• Process payroll
• Electronically Submit State Taxes

Qualifications

• Proven experience in bookkeeping or accounting roles is preferred.
• Strong analytical skills with experience in data mining techniques.
• Knowledge of financial modeling concepts is desirable.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Quickbooks
• Experience processing payroll
• Prior experience in warehouse operations or logistics is beneficial.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 25 per week
