SUMMARY:
The Director of Case Management (Director) is responsible for the supervision and oversight of the daily operations of the Case Management Department. The Director ensures accessibility to case management services and provides guidance and assists with problem resolution when accessibility challenges are identified (i.e.. transportation, language barriers, specific mental health diagnosis, etc.) Supervision responsibilities include direct supervision with direct care staff or their supervisors as appropriate. The Director will also participate in the development and implementation of program policy and procedure. The Director supervises the activities of, and gives consultation and direction to, the Case Manager Supervisor and Case Managers engaged in performing a variety of activities related to services to clients in the Adult Blended Case Management program, D/A ICM and ICWC Case Management. This program provides services to individuals living with a substance use disorder. The employee has responsibility for the operation of the Case Management Department and ensures that the Department conforms to standards, regulations and laws of the city, state, and federal agencies. Work includes assigning cases, reviewing case activities, determining training and developmental needs, hiring new staff, training employees, reviewing worker performances, and initiating corrective action when necessary. Contact with individuals, their families, representatives of private and public agencies, representatives of professional and community groups, and the general public as well as supervision of case managers, case aides and other subordinate staff are of major significance to the work. Work is performed under the general supervision of the Vice President.
Qualifications
Experience:
Bachelor’s in Social Work or related Human Services field. Masters preferred.

Qualifications
Experience:
- Three years of case management supervising experience
- Three years of direct case management experience
- Knowledge and understanding of addiction and Harm Reduction strategies
Bachelor’s in Social Work or related Human Services field. Masters preferred.
