ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
Reporting to the Senior Associate Dean for Academic Affairs, the Assistant Dean of Clinical Skills & Simulation Education will provide innovative educational and administrative leadership to Bouvé College of Health Sciences (BCHS)-operated educational spaces and technologies including : the human anatomy laboratory, skills lab classrooms and the Goldstein simulation center. This person would have the opportunity to extend leadership throughout the Northeastern University global network, including Massachusetts, North Carolina, and California campus locations among others. The position will expand the use of immersive technologies to augment and extend learning across the college network. Programs will span the continuum of skills-based lifelong learning including undergraduate, graduate, and continuing education (credit bearing and non-credit levels).

Leadership and Strategy :
- Contribute to the formulation of BCHS strategy in experiential learning, with a focus on achieving goals in the areas of clinical skills training and simulation including the use of virtual reality platforms, interprofessional activities, and other media and technologies in health professions education.
- Implement a framework for the BCHS experiential learning strategy to be implemented across Northeastern's global university system as appropriate.
- Forge partnerships across sectors and institutions to advance the BCHS strategy.
