Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse or physician
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Monitor patients' conditions and report any changes to the healthcare team
- Assist in developing and implementing patient care plans
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and records
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
Requirements
- Experience working with children, individuals with developmental disabilities, and in home care settings is preferred
- Knowledge of medical coding standards
- Proficiency in primary care practices
- Familiarity with Epic or similar electronic health record systems
- Strong understanding of medical documentation practices
- Ability to work in an operating room (OR) setting is a plus
- Willingness to engage in travel nursing opportunities
