Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. Duties
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any significant changes to the healthcare team.
- Assist with daily living activities for patients, including personal hygiene and mobility.
- Provide care for patients in specialized areas such as geriatrics, hospice care, and urgent care.
- Perform procedures such as spinal taps, airway management, and dialysis under supervision.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of care provided.
- Collaborate with registered nurses and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatment plans, and home care needs.
- Ensure compliance with health regulations and safety standards.
Requirements
- Valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of practice.
- Experience in geriatrics, hospice care, or urgent care is preferred.
- Familiarity with medical terminology and documentation practices.
- Ability to perform specific nursing procedures such as spinal taps and airway management is a plus.
- Experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.
