A regional developer is seeking a dynamic and dedicated individual to join our team as a full-time Property Manager for one of our multifamily properties in Petaluma, California.
As a Property Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring efficient operations and delivering exceptional resident experiences. This position offers the opportunity to join a growing company and work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist property managers with day-to-day operations across various multifamily properties.
- Provide exceptional customer service to residents, prospective tenants, and vendors.
- Coordinate leasing activities, including conducting property tours, processing applications, and executing lease agreements.
- Marketing and advertising of available units to attract prospective tenants.
- Maintain accurate resident records, including leases, renewals, and move-ins/move-outs.
- Conduct regular property inspections to ensure compliance with safety and maintenance standards.
- Manage rent collection, invoice processing, reporting, and budget management.
- Respond promptly to resident inquiries, concerns, and maintenance requests.
- Collaborate with maintenance staff to address property maintenance issues in a timely manner.
- Implement resident retention strategies and community events.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market trends, competitors, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent. Some college coursework in business, real estate, or a related field is a plus.
- Must live onsite at the multifamily property located in Petaluma, California
- Flexibility to work some Saturdays.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact professionally with residents, prospects, and vendors.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills for clear and concise interaction with team members, residents, and property management leadership.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to handle various responsibilities and projects simultaneously.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills to address on-site issues independently and make sound decisions.
- Dependable and punctual, with a commitment to meeting deadlines and completing tasks accurately.
- Proactive mindset with the ability to take initiative in resolving issues and contributing to the overall success of the property management team.
- Adherence to high ethical standards and integrity in all interactions, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and ethical guidelines.
