We are seeking a Seasonal Assistant Hotel Manager to help oversee operations and ensure our guests receive exceptional service throughout their stay. If you have strong organizational skills, excellent communication, and a knack for problem-solving, wed love to have you on our team.
As the Assistant Hotel Manager, youll work closely with the General Manager to supervise daily operations, manage guest services, and support our team in delivering outstanding hospitality. Your role will include overseeing front desk operations, coordinating with housekeeping and maintenance teams, assisting with staff training, and handling guest inquiries and concerns. You'll also play a key part in enhancing the overall guest experience by ensuring seamless service and attention to detail.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in hospitality management or related field preferred
- Valid Driver License
- Prior experience in a front desk or customer service role
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Excellent problem-solving abilities
- Proficient in computer systems and software, including hotel management software
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to handle difficult situations with professionalism and courtesy
- Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of the front desk area, ensuring smooth and efficient check-in and check-out processes
- Train and supervise front desk staff, providing guidance and support as needed
- Foster a positive and welcoming environment for guests, ensuring excellent customer service is consistently delivered
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and requests in a timely manner, ensuring prompt resolution and guest satisfaction
- Maintain accurate records, including guest accounts and reservation details
- Assist in the development and implementation of front desk policies and procedures
- Monitor and maintain inventory of supplies and equipment necessary for front desk operations
- Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure a seamless guest experience
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and changes in regulations related to front desk operations
- Daily pickups and drop offs at the train station and surrounding areas for guest convenience
