What are the responsibilities and job description for the Label Specialist position at Northern Lights Candles?
Primary Duties:
Production:
- Produce all printed labels / materials needed to support production schedule. Maintain alignment with RM shipping schedule for contract packaging operations.
- Prepare pre – printed labels / materials for shipment, aligning with RM shipments and production schedules.
Warehouse:
- Create all location tags / labels.
- Make all labels for contract manufacturing partners.
- Responsible for all inventory levels of labels and related materials.
Product Development:
- Generate compliant product labelling using predesigned customer and vendor templates.
- Generate carton label artwork using predesigned customer and vendor templates.
- Distribute label artwork for internal & external approval.
- Export artwork files to populate internal BOM documents and image databases with visual representation of approved artwork.
Shipping:
- Generate all EDI and non-EDI labels for large Account Customers according to the customer specifications and routing guides.
- Update any changes to the label when directed by the shipping manager and, maintaining up to date files, and archiving obsolete versions.
Quality Control:
- Create labels for repairing customer returns and trade show product.
- Generate sample labels for 3rd party testing items.
- Generate labels for manufacturing aid creation.
- Print QC department specific disposition labels.
Perform any other duties related in nature that may be assigned by the supervisor.
*** This is a full on-site, hourly position located in Wellsville, NY. Established Labor Grade for this role is $17.29 hour. ***
