JOB SUMMARY: Assist with oversight, coordination, and supervision of Clinical operation, functions and activities for NMMC Physician Practices. Work with the Practice Directors and Practice Managers to coordinate all outpatient associated clinical activities. Is instrumental in the development and implementation of clinical policies/procedures and efficiencies. Works in provider offices hands on, performing clinical support duties, providing instruction, and guidance both operationally and clinically.

Minimum requirements include MA or RN with defined clinical training, Associates or Baccalaureate with job experience in a physician group practice setting with managerial or supervisory experience. A strong background with interpersonal skills, communication skills, supervisory experience, medical terminology and experience in a medical environment. Applicant will receive training to learn procedures prescribed by NMMC Policy.

Essential Functions
- Oversee and coordinate the clinical activities for clinical support staff (MAs and RNs) of the physician practices.
- Assist in the daily administration and coordination of the physician practice activities.
- Responsible to Supervise office MA's.
- Oversees the hiring, orientation, training and competencies of clinical staff. Works directly with new staff to insure proper training.
- Assists with developing and implementing policies and procedures that relate to the clinical activities in collaboration with the Medical Director.
- Ensures compliance with RHC guidelines, licensing, and accreditation requirements.
- Performs operational/clinical audits to RHC standards.
- Identifies, develops and implements office efficiencies by working directly in offices.
- Increase office team support and acceptance by working side by side with staff.
- Engages in Performance Improvement activities for improved healthcare clinical outcomes.
- Performs routine audits and holds staff accountable to standards, policies and practices for clinical care.
- Fills in offices during staffing shortages.
- Works collaboratively with all NMMC departments.
- Responsible for patient and employee safety as it applies to the work environment.
- Attends required in-services.
- Perform related work not listed herein but deemed in the best interest of the organization.
