About the role
This position is responsible for the maintaining 13 acres of grounds for all of Northern Montana Health Care located in Havre MT. The position requires a highly skilled individual with working knowledge of lawn care and snow removal equipment such as commercial riding lawn mowers, push mowers, trimmers, blowers. Snow removal equipment such as plow truck, skid steer, quad runner and UTV with plows. Knowledge of lawn sprinkler systems would be recommended. This individual will help maintain all equipment and assist in repairs as needed, completed PM’s on the computer system. This individual will work under the supervision of the Lead Grounds keeper and the Director of Facility Services.
Qualifications
- Physically capable of shoveling snow and heavy lifting in extreme weather conditions.
- Ability to maintain a cordial working relationship with all Hospital personnel.
- High school graduate or working on obtaining with basic knowledge and some experience in carpentry, mechanics, lawn and grounds care, and operation of lawn and grounds equipment.
- Possess a valid Montana driver's license with a clean driving record.
