Northwest Specialty Hospital , an extension of Northern Nevada Medical Center, brings expanded services to a new building located at 3 Sharlands Ave.
in Northwest Reno. The facility will offer acute rehabilitation and adult behavioral health services.
Our acute rehabilitation services include occupational, speech, and physical therapy for adults recovering from stroke, injury, or another disabling condition.
We offer advanced treatment for a wide range of conditions including stroke, brain injury, amputation, neurological disorders, major multiple traumas and spinal cord and back injuries.
All patients will experience private rooms, have access to a newly renovated therapy gym, and personalized care from our qualified staff.

This Phlebotomist opportunity is part time, offers full benefits and offers a convenient flexible day shift schedule.This position is for our New Rehab Hospital located in Northewest Reno.
We are looking for a dynamic individual will perform venipuncture and skin puncture competently and expediently at our .
Has working knowledge of test requirements, assists in clinical laboratory. Responsibilities include venipuncture, blood cultures and capillary blood samples.
- Draws blood competently, consistently and expediently with as little patient discomfort as possible.
- Identifies the patient using the two-unique identifiers described in the hospital’s policy before services are provided.
- Records phlebotomy requisitions on log.
- Displays courteous, professional manner towards patients, co-workers, nursing and medical staff.

Universal Health Services :
Qualifications
High school graduate or equivalent.
State Laboratory Assistant licensure required
Current BLS certification
Valid drivers license
