Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Prosthetist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, fabricating, and fitting prosthetic devices for patients who have lost limbs or require limb support. The Prosthetist will utilize their knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology to provide exceptional service and support throughout the patient journey.
Responsibilities
- Assess patient needs through comprehensive evaluations and physical examinations.
- Design and fabricate custom prosthetic devices tailored to individual patient requirements.
- Collaborate with physicians, physical therapists, and other healthcare providers to develop effective treatment plans.
- Educate patients on the use and care of their prosthetic devices, ensuring they understand proper maintenance and adjustments.
- Monitor patient progress and make necessary modifications to prosthetic devices as needed.
- Maintain accurate patient records, documenting assessments, treatments, and outcomes.
- Stay current with advancements in prosthetic technology and best practices in the field.
Skills
