Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor

We are seeking a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC) to join our Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) team. This Full-time position will see community-based clients throughout our six-county service region. Typical shifts include daytime, weekday hours with required on-call. This role will carry out rehabilitation and support in an individual and group setting, functions and assist in treatment; substance abuse services; education, support, and consultation to families; crisis intervention under the clinical supervision of staff with professional degrees.  This role has a particular emphasis on providing substance use rehabilitation services. 

Qualifications include:

• Current, unrestricted license as an LADC in the State of MN
• One year of work experience in direct service to individuals with substance use problems or one year of work experience in the management or administration of direct service to individuals with substance use problems is preferred
• A Bachelor’s degree in the behavioral sciences
• Education or experience in co-occurring disorders and adolescent development
• Travel is a function of this position; ability to operate a motor vehicle along with a valid driver’s license is required.
