Position Overview
We are seeking a high-performing, results-driven Inside Sales Manager to lead our growing residential solar inside sales team. This role is critical in driving lead conversion, sales performance, and overall revenue growth from inside sales operations. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with a strong background in residential solar, sales coaching, and performance management.
Key Responsibilities
- Team Leadership: Recruit, train, manage, and mentor a team of inside sales representatives focused on residential solar sales.
- Performance Management: Set daily/weekly/monthly sales goals and KPIs, monitor performance, and implement improvement plans as needed.
- Sales Strategy: Collaborate with marketing and field sales teams to optimize lead flow, sales processes, and customer engagement strategies.
- Training & Coaching: Develop and implement training programs on objection handling, product knowledge, proposal presentation, and closing techniques.
- Customer Experience: Maintain high standards of professionalism and customer satisfaction throughout the inside sales process.
- Cross-Department Collaboration: Partner with design, operations, and field installation teams to ensure smooth project handoffs and accurate customer expectations.
Qualifications
- 3 years of experience in inside sales, with 1 year in a management or leadership role (solar experience preferred).
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong knowledge of residential solar systems, financing, and industry trends.
- Excellent communication, coaching, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Highly organized, data-driven, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
- Passionate about clean energy and customer empowerment.
