Summary
Cleans and restores carpet and upholstery by performing the following duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Includes guest areas, offices, venues, pool, spa, exercise room and employee areas on the lobby and lower level of hotel and entire casino, H.R. building, Camas Path Building, valet office in parking garage and all other out building and trailers not listed above.
• Receives work orders and schedules from supervisor
• Cleans carpet, upholstery, floors, draperies, and room accessories to remove effects of smoke and water damage such as dirt, soot, stains, mildew and excess water and moisture.
• Places fans and dehumidifiers in strategic room locations to remove moisture from carpet, upholstery and air.
• Verifies moisture presence and removal with moisture sensor.
• Sprays or fogs carpet, upholstery, and accessories with fabric conditioners and protectors, deodorizers, and disinfectants.
• Cleans and maintains hard floors with daily scrubbing and buffing.
• Restores hard floors with routine/scheduled stripping and re-waxing.
• Inspects completed restoration to ensure conformance to standards.
• Ensure control/protection of company assets.
• Ensures compliance with the Kalispel Tribe of Indians- State of Washington Gaming Compact, Internal Controls, NIGC Regulations and Northern Quest Policies and Procedures.
• Available and willing to work any changes in hours deemed necessary for Business Levels.
• Responsible for maintaining a consistent, regular good attendance record.
• May be required to be a panelist for the Internal Review Hearings.

Supervisory Responsibility
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Qualifications
• One year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six month related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Knowledge of chemicals used for carpet and hard floor care.
• General understanding of MSDS and OSHA requirements.
• Operation and maintenance of carpet and floor care equipment preferred.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to write simple correspondence.
• Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
• Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
Certificates, Licenses, Regulations
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Tribal Gaming License.
• Washington or Idaho State Driver’s License (Must be in possession while operating a Tribal Vehicle).
• Hepatitis A & B shots.
