Position Summary
Responsible for providing prompt service, quality beverages including (espresso and coffee drinks) and food, and conducting cash register transactions while maintaining a friendly, upbeat, and clean atmosphere.
Job Responsibilities
Must be 18 years old. Basic math skills. Verbal communication and customer service skills are required. Prior money-handling skills, and computer skills (Point of Sale), are required. Must be knowledgeable in areas regarding operation of Commercial Espresso machines, and cooking equipment and have a basic working knowledge of beverages. These skills and abilities are typically acquired through completion of a high school degree or equivalent, as well as through two months of on-the-job training or equivalent experience. Must be able to obtain required food handlers certifications.

- Welcome and connect with every guest. Discovers guest's needs and appropriately suggests products to enhance service and meet sales goals.
- Prepare beverages and food of the highest quality by following standards of service for the Grab and Go.
- Operate cash register and handle money.
- Clean and maintain the appearance of all merchandise and customer areas.
- Respond to guest inquiries and their requests.
- Learn and demonstrate creating the Spokane Tribe Resort & Casino experience.
- Must be able to multi-task and assist guests swiftly and efficiently.
- Must be able to effectively communicate and problem-solve.
- Report to the supervisor or manager any guest complaints or issues.
- Monitor stock and communicate with the supervisor.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
