Job Summary: Northern Screw Machine is a dynamic and rapidly growing aerospace parts manufacturer seeking an experienced Administrative Manager to oversee and streamline our administrative operations. The successful candidate will have extensive experience with Epicor ERP, possess strong analytical capabilities, and be process driven. This role is pivotal in training staff and leading the Administrative function while also engaging in hands-on administrative duties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Leadership: Direct and manage the day-to-day administrative activities, ensuring operational efficiency and adherence to company policies.
- ERP Management: Utilize Epicor ERP to maintain accurate records, generate reports, and optimize business processes. Lead initiatives to improve ERP usage across departments.
- Process Improvement: Analyze current administrative procedures for inefficiencies, develop and implement process improvements, and monitor outcomes for continuous enhancement.
- Training and Development: Design, develop, and deliver training programs for staff on administrative procedures and Epicor ERP functionalities to enhance system utilization and compliance.
- Strategic Planning: Collaborate with senior management to align administrative functions with the company’s strategic goals, including budgeting, forecasting, and resource allocation.
- Documentation and Compliance: Ensure all administrative documentation is current, accurate, and compliant with industry regulations and standards.
- Team Management: Oversee hiring, performance evaluations, and professional development of administrative staff, fostering a culture of accountability and improvement.
- Project Management: Lead or support cross-functional projects that involve administrative aspects, ensuring timely and efficient project completion.
- Administrative Support: Engage in daily administrative tasks as needed, such as managing schedules, coordinating meetings, and preparing documentation.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
- Experience:
- 5 years in an administrative leadership role, ideally within manufacturing or a similar industry.
- Proven track record with Epicor ERP, including system configuration, training, and utilization for operational improvement.
- Skills:
- Strong analytical skills with a focus on process optimization.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; advanced Excel skills required.
- Superior communication and training skills, with the ability to motivate and guide teams.
